Automotive Research & Development Center BOSMAL
BOSMAL R&D Center actively came on stream in the Polish automotive sector in 1972, commencing its operation as engineering and testing-developing back-up facility of the former FSM factory (Small Car Factory) in Bielsko-Biała.
Today Bosmal operate as fully independent research-development organization, undertaking projects commissioned by many interested companies and cooperating with a wide rangeof well-known institutions and technical universities, both international and domestic.

Our facilities include a modern testing-measuring apparatus used for research and design-engineering calculation work in field of vehicle construction and powertrain design and development.
For many years the company has worked on joint projects with major OEM’s and tier 1 and tier 2 suppliers to the industry who manufacture parts and subassemblies for final assembly and aftermarket replacement spares.
Our Testing Laboratories are certified to PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 standards and were accredited in 1997. The Laboratory has a Accreditation Certificate of Testing Laboratory no. AB 128, valid up to 17.07.2011. Moreover, the Laboratory has granted recommendation of the ITDC OPEL Central Laboratory.
Furthermore, the company has integrated management system (Quality and Environment Management Systems) certified for conformity with the following standards: PN-EN ISO 9001:2001 and PN-EN ISO 14001:2005.
